WAKE UP!

I don't mean to shout, but I feel it's terribly important. I don't know the words right now, to properly express what's going on in my head, much less in the world, so do me a favor will you?

Look around. Watch the news (not Fox, please God, not Fox). Read an article. Listen to news radio.

Do you see what's happening to us? We're sinking and fast. Obama got on his twitter account (I know, right?) today and said "It's up to you to show that you care too much about this country to let it fall backward." And he's right. It is up to us, but we've a long, narrow road ahead of us. I can't help but feel all my pride slipping away. It's hard to be a happy (much less proud) American these days. What have we to be proud of?
Two, long unsuccessful wars
Young people saddled with the debt of education
A mess of a health care system
an endangered middle class (and a steadily growing lower).
Banks blatently robbing individuals
Housing, unemployment, pollution, debt, class warfare, commercialized politics...

I could go on, but I'll spare the space.

My point (and I do have one) is this:
We need to start paying attention. We need to start taking action. We need to start giving a shit. We need to be educated. We need to remind the govt why they're here.
We need a revolution

Now, I'm not talking about burning down the banks or taking out the leaders. Just, pay attention. Just join a cause. Support something. The whole world is in chaos and America is paving the way (or rather stumpling like a drunk down it's own path)

"I made mistakes, like everybody else, but instead of getting over it, I can't forgive myself."

How unfortunate.

This year:

register the Lincoln, drive like a PimpKing
More yoga. We want long lean muscles (and thighs that do not touch)

Better diet- sorry booze, but this means you. I know, we've had such a long, meaningful history together and I'm sorry, but this is how it has to be. You know I'll always love you, I just can't be with you right now. We're no good for each other. You know I'm not lying. I can go on without you as long as I know you'll always take me back. I'll miss you, Whiskey.

Get a-mothafuckin-agent. Not a literal 'mothafuckin' one persay, but I'm openminded.
I want abs like Ellen Page in 'Hard Candy'
No excuses, get up, let go, live it.
